The program of Aerial Silks & Aerial Workout Workshop is composed of:
- Warming up on aerial silks – Aerial Workout program - how to prepare and reinforce your body for aerial movements and warm up specific group of muscles needed for that kind of movement
- Learning of different techniques - including balancing positions, C shape, meat hook, roll up, free drops (with no keys), various ways of climbing and transitions
- Sequencing - meaning connection of learned elements into short choreographic sequences
In the Aerial Silks and Aerial Workout workshop, we will work on:
Inversions :
- How to prepare your body for different inverted movements and positions
- Static and dynamic variations, hip in/out, scorpio variations
- Open drops (with no keys)
Hip movement:
- Conditioning exercises and preparations for the hip movements
- Usage of the hip movement -hip lock, meat hook, helicopter, roll down, roll up and variations
- Drops form these bases
Balance:
- Workout preparation for various balancing positions and movements
- Splits, back balance, variations of flag
- Sequencing and variations of drops from these elements
The program is suitable for intermediate and advanced students.
